Project manage the implementation of software products for oncology customers with our Oncology Informatics & Genomics team within our Precision Diagnosis Solutions department. The software solutions portfolio at Philips has grown exponentially over the last few years with new high growth businesses leading the way for future opportunities. Oncology Informatics & Genomics is an exciting portfolio of products that helps to make the lives of busy clinicians and hospital staff easier, while ultimately driving better outcomes for patients.

This role combines traditional project management, IT/ integration project management and relationship management across a variety of stakeholders. In order to succeed in this role, you will develop relationships with a cross-section of hospital stakeholders (clinical and operational), and need to work extremely collaboratively internally, with account executives, engineers, product managers, and project managers.

You are responsible for

  • Project managing through the entire life cycle of complex, software implementations for the applications of Lung Cancer Orchestrator, Pathways, Genomics, and others.
  • Customizing standard project plans per client prior to project kick off
  • Collaborating with sales team members to complete sales hand off
  • Leading kick off meeting with internal and client stakeholders
  • Managing the work and completion of deliverables for a variety of internal team members, including HL7 integration managers, engineers and others
  • Conducting meetings on a regular cadence with all internal and external (client) stakeholders, per project
  • Planning and managing the execution of application testing prior to product go live
  • Ensuring all steps are completed for a successful launch, prior to project go live, and voicing any concerns if all steps are not completed
  • Completing or facilitating immediate post go live monitoring
  • Project managing approximately 4-8 software implementations simultaneously
  • Supporting or leading the creation of new standard project plans for new software products within the Oncology Informatics & Genomics product portfolio, as they are released
  • Documenting all learnings throughout a project, and sharing these learnings back to your team to ensure better projects are run moving forward
  • Pinpointing opportunities for process improvement, including the need for new tooling to support project management, new processes, and more, and raising those opportunities to team leadership

You are a part of

The Oncology Informatics & Genomics business within Precision Diagnosis Solutions. You will be surrounded by individuals with backgrounds in clinical domains, engineering, operations, strategy and many more, who are all passionate and eager to solve problems both internally and for our hospital customers. As a new portfolio of products within Philips, the Oncology Informatics & Genomics business functions with an entrepreneurial spirit where all team members are willing to dive into their work enthusiastically and support their other team members as needed.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • 3+ years of project management work experience, preferably in healthcare
  • 2+ years of experience working in a SaaS company
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
  • Experience working with healthcare focused technical integrations, such as HL7 and FHIR, preferred
  • Superb client-facing communication and confidence performing in public-facing role
  • Skilled at taking many complex details, and consolidating them into clear, digestible points
  • Experience working closely with software engineers, and individuals in more technical roles
  • Able to master a multitude of new skills, including more technical skills, and eager to take on a diverse array of projects and tasks
  • Action-oriented problem-solver always seeking to improve processes and deliverables who appreciates receiving constructive feedback and respectfully articulates constructive feedback to others
  • Passion for healthcare innovation and a sincere interest in working at a growing business within Philips
  • Bachelor's degree related to business, social science or healthcare
