The role

As an Accountmanager you’ll be the one who is responsible for building your own portfolio. You’re in touch with your leads and clients throughout the day to empower them on how to fulfill their flexible workforce and use our platform most efficiently. You analyze team- and portfolio data.

We (currently) have a focus on a couple of segments:

  • Logistics:
  • Bulky Logistics (VHC)
  • Parcel Logistics (DHL, UPS, Budbee)
  • E-Commerce/ E-fullfilment (Fonq, Crisp)
  • Production (Marley Spoon)

You will be joining the logistics team reporting into the Portfolio Lead Logistics. Next to the Logistics team, we have a Hospitality, A Retail and a Delivery team. In total the commercial team consists of 13 people.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow your portfolio. Build a personal connection and be aware of market developments in order to grasp opportunities. Data driven decision making with the customer and lead in mind. You will follow-up on (automated) opportunities within your portfolio to continuously boost business.
  • Take ownership. You are always looking for the best outcome and are solution-focused. You are accountable for your actions and are not afraid to fail.
  • Communicate effectively: You are able to express ideas and information in a constructive and motivating way to others. Not only within your team and company, but also at your clients, as it is important to provide updates and feedback so that we can optimize our product and processes. As we work as one team collaboratively, we speak freely but with respect.
  • Find and acquire new business partners by reaching out proactively.
  • Follow up on (warm) leads and move them through the sales cycle.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant proven commercial experience in acquisition and account management. Preferably at an logistics focussed employment agency or a logistic related company
  • A degree from Hotel school or other subsequent study
  • Knowledge of using software such as Asana and Salesforce; is a pro
  • Fluent in Dutch and sufficient in English.
  • Ability to translate ideas into concrete plans
  • Commercial drive and a love for new business
  • Prioritize team effort and opportunities to ensure optimal impact on results
  • Energy and motivation for action
  • Data-driven and innovative
