We are currently offering 2 intern places with different durations.

Intern (1): We prefer students who are available 12 months for the internship.

Intern (2): Minimum of 6 months with possibility for extension.

Location: Amsterdam (hybrid internship with minimum 2 days at the office)

Type: Internship – not suitable for thesis

Length: 6-12 months

Time: minimum of 32 hours/week

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be part of the Floor Care product marketing team. You will support the positioning, definition and introduction of new vacuum cleaner products and adjacent product categories that will bring rewarding and enjoyable experiences to consumers by meeting their needs. You will translate in-depth market, consumer and shopper insights, as well as competitive analysis into winning product concepts. You will support with market analysis to identify commercial opportunities for new business & subscription models, connected propositions and sustainability initiatives to integrate these new concepts into strategic product roadmaps, developing and bringing the concept from idea to market.

You are responsible for

  • Support in Product Development projects, including analysis on consumer and market data
  • Competitor analysis to support key innovation projects
  • Support the Marketing team with (Internal & External) event organization
  • Creation of benchmarks to optimize go to market strategy and activation
  • Support in developing value propositions and detailed product specifications for new product introductions
  • Follow up to introduction of commercial initiatives in different countries on time
  • Gathering information w.r.t. product strategy, making SWOT analysis
  • Develop commercial presentation material.

You are a part of

You will be part of the Floor Care product marketing team, a dedicated and engaging group of Product and Consumer Marketing Managers, within the Business Group Floor Care, and part of the wider new Philips Domestic Appliances organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor’s (at least 3rd year) or Master’s degree in the following fields: Business Economics, Marketing, Communication, Innovation management, Industrial Design.
  • Proactive mindset, high level of self-motivation, and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Have strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ideally have some relevant internship experience
  • Fluent in English. German or Chinese are a plus
