As a Senior Content Strategist, Writer and Editor you devise content strategy and create a consistent stream of impactful content to be leveraged across markets and businesses. Content that helps build the reputation of Philips as a leader in health technology and drives engagement.

You are responsible for

  • Devise and oversee content strategies for specific topics, channels and/or programs, such as the company’s thought leadership program
  • Develop compelling content and messaging – planned and ad hoc – for key internal and external audiences and stakeholders
  • Give editorial guidance and creative direction to support the development and activation of high-quality content by audience (e.g. C-suite and clinical segments, B2G)
  • Drive efficiency, efficacy and financial gain through standardization and scaling of our content activities across multiple touchpoints (ie: digital, events, etc.)
  • Ensure a high quality of work according to brand guidelines, key messaging and team ambitions

You are a part of

You report to the Head of the Communications Center of Excellence (CCoE). The CCoE is a team of communication specialists who oversee global Philips strategic communications planning and programs, content strategy and creation, channel management and related measurement. It is part of the Integrated Communications & Events team within the Marketing & E-Commerce function.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • At least 5-8 years professional experience in writing and devising content strategies, particularly in a B2B and/or B2G environment
  • Master’s degree in a Communications, Marketing or a related area
  • Demonstrated track record in creating content specific to health technology
  • Ability to provide editorial guidance and creative direction across various content types
  • Native English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to maneuver in matrix organizations and interface with executives
  • Curiosity, energy and a pro-active and results-oriented approach
