We are looking for a proactive HR Officer to support our Staffing & Development team (at least 30 hours per week). If you have good organizational skills and an HR degree or at least 1 year of HR working experience, you may be the one we are looking for!

What's the position?

As an HR Officer you ensure the smooth running of administrative and organizational processes. Towards the business (mainly lawyers) you will operate as a first-line service for all sorts of practical HR questions. Our Staffing & Development Advisers are responsible for, among other things, the staffing and development of our lawyers, and they provide them with HR advice. As Staffing & Development Officer, you will support the Staffing & Development Advisers.

Within the HR team we continuously strive to improve our work processes. We expect you to contribute to that. You will also play a role in implementing these improvements. Important HR themes for 2022 are sustainable employment and optimization of the employee experience by, among other things, upgrading our policies.

Our standards are very high and there is often great time pressure, so a strong degree of independence and proactivity is expected of you. You will act as a source of information for your HR colleagues and other De Brauw employees, and you will take action where necessary. An important part of your role is providing information, including basic analysis, to relevant stakeholders, based on data you extract from our HR systems (e.g., AFAS).

Who are you?

Our ideal candidate for this position:

  • has an HR degree or at least 1 year of HR working experience,
  • is result-driven,
  • has extraordinary organizational and planning skills, and is highly precise,
  • has good analytical skills,
  • has excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, at least in Dutch and preferably in English too,
  • has experience with AFAS/Profit.

Several HR Officers are spread across the various teams, working in their own expertise.
