Job Description

The Procurement function in JDE is on the journey to a Worlds Class Procurement Organisation delivering against JDE Business ambition. Key responsibilities of the function is to deliver the most competitive cost & cash base, to create top line value by building and managing a strong supplier base, and to champion a culture of pride and performance in the Procurement team.

The Indirects Procurement team is responsible for Media, Marketing and Business Services, including spend categories like Creative agencies, Fleet, Travel, Consultancy and Temporary Labour is rolling out a best in class set-up to become successful business partners for the JDE Global functins and the JDE markets.

We are looking for a talented intern who would like to explore the area Indirects Procurement and Marketing in particular. Someone who is keen to develop themselves, eager to learn, curious by nature, resourceful and is happy to support the team in managing some of the key initiatives and who will support us in the development of a set of (communication) tools that help the team to become a truly world class Procurement team and act as strategic business partners with the senior level internal clients.

You will support Marketing Procurement in the following areas:

  • The Creative sourcing strategy of centralized development of creative with single global agency and a centralized trans-creation approach for the markets
  • Set up a new Market Research/Insights sourcing approach
  • Support tender processes, negotiations and contracting
  • Support measuring supplier performance (SPM), creating tools that can be used with agencies
  • On implementing a communication plan aimed at improving understanding of the Procurement role, it’s value add to drive better collaboration
  • To successfully create the 2023 team annual operating plan and presentation

To be successful in this role you:

  • Need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship
  • Studying for a HBO or University in the areas of Business Management, Marketing, or any other relevant area
  • Have a keen interest in Procurement and in Marketing
  • Have excellent communication skills, fluent in English
  • Have advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Are curious and fact-based
  • Have a ‘can do’ mentality, like engaging with others to achieve excellence
  • Have the ability to work under pressure
  • Have strong project management skills

What We Offer:

  • The monthly internship allowance is € 500,- for a WO student, based on a fulltime 40 hour workweek
  • The internship starts per September
  • A 6 month internship
