To expand our MEPcontent sales team, a Trimble brand, we are looking for a Junior Account Manager who can convince international manufacturers of the benefits that the MEPcontent platform can offer them in the BIM workflow.

MEPcontent.com is a cloud portal and platform where over 600,000 articles from more than 420 manufacturers are available as 3D files to more than 170,000+ MEP engineers. Its graphical and technical features enable engineers to quickly and accurately design installations for buildings and homes in Revit, AutoCAD, Stabicad, Trimble Nova and other design software. A good solution helps MEP engineers choose the right manufacturer.

From our market leadership in the Benelux, we have grown strongly in Europe in recent years and are now spreading our wings worldwide. In addition to content, we are increasingly developing manufacturer-specific services, including analytics and web integrations. MEPcontent is part of Trimble Inc.

Measures of success

As a Junior Account Manager at MEPcontent, you and your colleagues are responsible for the international expansion of MEPcontent. Specific responsibilities are:

  • You are responsible for the team accounts and are delighted to build up a long-term partnership with them;
  • You apply modern techniques such as consultative and social selling in your sales strategy;
  • You collaborate with multiple teams on a strategic and tactical level to successfully onboard and nurture the customer base;;
  • You have an eye for new developments in the building construction market and have the ability to learn and apply these developments in your daily work;
  • You represent MEPcontent at trade fairs and congresses.

Empathy, technical knowledge, and a sincere interest in our prospects and customers are competencies that will make a difference. The knowledge of our products you will gain through your own research, by attending training courses and by working together with colleagues.

Skills and experience required

We are looking for a colleague who is enthusiastic and willing to learn and to grow within the role. You are someone who is looking for a challenge, understands the needs of the customer (national and international) in a constantly changing digital world and who enjoys working in a multicultural environment.In addition, you have:

  • persuasiveness and perseverance to achieve your goal;
  • A self-motivated and cooperative mindset to get your job done;
  • Able to level with different people and situations;
  • A bachelor’s degree in the field of sales or a technical study;
  • The ability to continue to grow as a professional. Trimble is happy to facilitate this;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; bonus points for German.

About Your Location

Trimble is seeking a Junior Account Manager to fill this opportunity at our office in Bodegraven, Netherlands. You will have the opportunity to work according to our Hybrid model which means working 2 or 3 days per week at the office and the remaining days from home.
