Job Description

Location: Amsterdam

Type: Internship (Can be suitable for thesis)

Length: 6 months - preference for students able to extend up to 12 months

Time: 40 hours/week, 32 hours/week is minimum

Expected Start Date: as soon as possible

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Help develop, improve and explore the potential of various IT tooling and processes related to Philips Global investigation methodology. The successful candidate will be able to be directly involved in shaping the Philips IT landscape for General Business Principle investigation (and beyond). This role will also provide the opportunity to express your creativity in problem solving and be involved in driving improvements.

You are responsible for

  • Support E-discovery projects including but not limited to: Remote imaging capability, Data Lost Prevention tool implementation, additional collection capabilities and Office 365 Security Center improvements.
  • Support the e-data collection process, working together with the Global Support Office
  • Support development for FICS (Fraud Investigations & Customer Screening) structured data analytics projects
  • Involvement in e-data collection mapping and process design
  • Other ad-hoc FICS IT activities e.g. Data base improvement

You are a part of

During the internship, you are part of the Fraud Investigation team, about 30 colleagues, within FICS (Internal Audit). You will work at the head office in Amsterdam.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master degree in: Business Administration, Business (International) Management, Business Strategy, or related studies.
  • Able to think outside of the box in problem solving.
  • Keen interest in technology and ‘making things better’, and knowledge of LEAN/continuous improvement is a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in the English language as mandatory.
  • Highly proficient with MS office regular application e.g. xlsx, pptx and SharePoint, and knowledgeable with MS ‘newer’ applications e.g. PowerBI and Teams. Direct experience (e.g. thesis or subject of study) with data analytic/big data/e-discovery is an added advantage.
