You are responsible for

  • Providing integration consultancy to our Digital & Computational Pathology (DCP) customers, assisting them in identifying requirements, analyzing current systems and work flows, and advising regarding messaging and data integration of DCP solutions into their environment. Please note that this is a client-facing role.
  • Designing, developing and implementing solutions integrating DCP systems with 3rd party health/lab systems to meet agreed requirements (specs, budget, time frame, quality);
  • Configuring, installing and testing the integration facilities in the DCP systems according to the DCP quality standards and integrate the systems in the customer’s IT environment and way of working;
  • Providing technical leadership/ownership of integration related activities within DCP projects and being responsible for the integration component of final solution design to be provided to the customer;
  • Providing sales support in the area of integration solution design, supporting and advising Philips sales by presenting solutions that meet both customer requirements and Philips business goals;
  • Testing solutions and components in cooperation with DCP Development to continuously improve the product, solution and project deliverables;
  • Providing support in the maintenance phase of the system to keep the systems running according to the agreed service levels.

You are a part of

You will be considered an “early joiner” to the Philips Emerging Businesses family, which plans to expand itself by approximately 700 members in the next 3 years. As an Integration Consultant, at Philips referred to as Professional Services Consultant - Integration you will report directly to the Integration Manager.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Experience in client-facing roles, paired up with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a customer-first mindset;
  • Experience with Orion Rhapsody is required;
  • 5-10 years’ experience in the industry / digitally enabled medical and/or Computer IT product development;
  • Out of which at least 3 years’ experience in implementing and/or supporting healthcare integration/interoperability projects or systems;
  • Integration experience using Healthcare IT standards, including HL7, DICOM, IHE and/or FHIR;
  • Good understanding of web technologies including HTML, XML and Javascript, and competency scripting in these;
  • Essential project management skills, good problem-solving skills;
  • Team player personality;
  • Bachelor degree (or higher) in ICT Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
