You and your job

As a Junior Python Developer you will be working in an agile team of developers, Ops engineers, Business Analysts and Credit Risk Modellers, helping to analyse and build risk models that help Rabobank to comply with regulatory requirements. Our department Model Management-IT is responsible for implementing and maintaining IT applications and financial models mainly for risk management. Our objective is to deliver timely and correct risk assessments that meet dynamic and challenging regulatory and internal demands.

At the same time, you work with other Young Professionals on several business challenges, that cover broader topics within the bank. With the latest technology at your fingertips, there’s nothing keeping you from boosting your career!

• You are part of the backbone of the team and you are a strong support for the solution architect.
• You translate the requirements of the risk modelers into production level python code.
• You take ownership of your code and you help in maintaining it throughout the software lifecycle.

You and your talent

• A bachelor or master degree, or an equivalent working / thinking level
• Affinity with Python software development.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn about T-SQL and C#, Azure cloud technologies, Flask, REDIS, Celery, Docker and Pytest
• Experience working on Python projects that have been deployed to production or a portfolio of personal projects.
