What you’ll achieve

The Senior Channel Sales Engineer (SE) at Secureworks is viewed as an expert in Cybersecurity. You will help Secureworks, and our partners manage existing customers, develop new opportunities, further strategic markets, and develop strong and rewarding internal and external customer relationships. The Senior Channel SE is a professional cybersecurity engineer who works with our channel partners and customers to make recommendations for security solutions. You will also work with our Chanel Account Manager (CAM) to manage our partner program and assists in providing training to the partner’s sale organization and key stakeholders. The Senior Channel SE coordinates efforts with the Secureworks direct sales teams on channel sourced opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

Engage with customers directly, with our partners and /or direct sales team to understand their requirements and communicate the technical value of all relevant Secureworks solutions

Support the sales cycle by delivering customer technical briefings, presentations/demonstrations, writing technical white papers, responding to RFI/RFP’s, Proof of Concepts (POC’s) etc.

Seek out new sales opportunities by developing new and existing technical relationships

Engage in advanced security architecture discussion with clients and prospective clients.

Present Secureworks services from a technical and business perspective

Minimum Requirements

Proven track record of creating and maintaining strong relationships with Channel Partners

Strong ability to assess customer requirements and a proper solution design

Strong leadership skills with the ability to set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members

Excellent communication with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, articulate the business benefits and technical advantages of Websense products and solutions, including communication with the executive level

Team focused, with the ability to gain the personal support of others

Preferred Skills

Present Secureworks services from a technical and business perspective

Demonstrable experience of presales or sales/solutions engineering in IT security, preferably Managed Security Services

One or more certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC (any), CCSP, PCI, QSA, CEH

Understanding of Managed Security Services (MSS) and Managed Detection & Response (MDR)

Exposure to MSS Platform/SIEM, Cloud Security, EDR/Advance Endpoints, IDS, NGFW

French language fluency
