How you contribute to ParkBee

As our Operations Intern, you’ll be working right in the heart of ParkBee. The hundreds of property owners and thousands of loyal users prove what the value of our contribution is. ParkBee is evolving and growing fast and our ambition requires more and more parking spots at both familiar as well as new and challenging locations.

You will support the management of the locations and stay on top of daily challenges to make sure we live up to our brand promises. You will be taking on various projects and assisting our Asset managers to ensure our continuous fast paced growth.

The internship

  • You are a ParkBee ambassador: You will be working with different departments and partners. It is your responsibility to build relationships and maintain them;
  • Give creative input to provide our users with the absolute best experience while managing different live ParkBee locations;
  • Identify on-site problems and implement solutions;
  • Participate closely in current projects to make operations processes more scalable and able to implement globally;
  • Be a contact point for our location operators and communicate with the various user groups and stakeholders;
  • Improve and optimise the overall garage experience for users;
  • Regularly be on the road to ParkBee locations to collaborate with existing partners;
  • Onboard new locations and partners;
  • Assist in fighting against misuse;
  • Analyse and assess internal procedures and identify efficiencies or improvements.

Is this your spot?

We’re looking for someone who is flexible, curious and an absolute team player. You have excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality. You also have a keen interest in operational and technical topics, and are looking to learn more about operational processes and user experience. Not only that, but you also have effective time management and a go-getter attitude, and a sufficient eye for detail. Together with our Operations and the Customer Support team, you will make the growth of ParkBee possible, one property at a time. Combine that with solving a worldwide problem, and you get a legacy you want to leave behind, right?

We have your perfect spot if you:

  • Are ideally a student in the final year of your HBO/WO degree in the Netherlands, looking for a full-time internship lasting 5-6 months, starting in August or September;
  • Are committed to making the daily commute to our office in Amsterdam (near the Amstel Station);
  • Are fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Have a driver's license B;
  • Have excellent communication skills;
  • Have good knowledge of MS Office and G-Suite.

Park with us!

Not only will you change the way we park in cities, you’ll also rapidly develop yourself for your future career. Besides that you’ll find:

  • Being part of an environment where you can really leave your footprint behind and make a change in a scalable company;
  • Opportunity to grow within ParkBee;
  • The great chance to work with tech and project management tools, like Looker, Asana and Atlassian, which can be of importance for your further career;
  • A challenging internship with competitive based compensation;
  • Being part of a multicultural team with currently more than 18 nationalities;
  • Enjoy our lunch, regular team events and Friday drinks;
  • A large group of interns to share your journey with!
  • The opportunity to work closely with the entire ParkBee team, and learn from ParkBee’s fast-paced and informal environment!

Sounds good? We would love to hear from you! We don’t require (in fact, please don’t write) a long motivation letter; we’d rather have a few pointers, your LinkedIn (or resume) and a good chat to tell you everything you want to know.
