Unilever Food Solutions (ufs.com) is the Foodservice division of Unilever. It leads the dynamic Food Service market with a range of exciting professional food products and services to chefs across 22 Multi-Country Organizations (MCOs) in 72 countries. In the past, Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) relied heavily on sales reps visiting chefs to generate demand, which offer high impact but has serious limits in terms of reach. Time for action right? That’s why we are evolving the business model by shifting from 100% F2F to a self-service digital-first model with sales force only for “magic moments”.

We are looking for a Global Marketing Automation & Lead Management Innovation Specialist to join the Global UFS Marketing Team from our Headquarter based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.


This role sits within the Global UFS Campaigning & Digital Media team. Who we are & what we do? We are all about empowering future-fit marketeers to nurture digital relationships with their operators:

As Innovation Expert on Marketing Automation & Lead Management, you work closely with the Business Owner of Marketing Automation & Lead Management and together you will:

  • Co-own & drive Marketing Automation & Lead Management strategy, roadmap and execution.
  • Research, develop and implement new touchpoints & integrations in an organized and aligned way: Gather market needs, create business case, translate into user stories and own & execute an aligned & prioritized roadmap.
  • Collect and share best practices with Multi-Country Organizations and within Global team and host various performance update calls with MCO’s to drive brilliant digital selling execution.
  • Work closely with Unilever Operations Technical & Data teams for perfect execution of the enablers to support the innovations and streamlined planning, with Digital Selling team & Business Transformation Leaders for seamless integration with the Customer Development community & MCOs.


  • You are curious, a self-starter and eager to learn. If you run into an issue, you won’t stop searching until you understand the cause and find the solution. You have a “can do” mentality and think in solutions rather than problems.
  • You have 2-3y experience in marketing automation, driving a lifecycle and lead management processes. Certification in Marketo (Expert) or a comparable tool is highly appreciated.
  • You are familiar with Agile SCRUM methodology and in gather business requirements, prioritize them and recommend a way forward.
  • You are approachable, patient, and helpful in supporting MCO’s & global marketing teams is part of your mentality. You are internationally oriented, like people and people like you.
  • You are result oriented & data excites you. You have strong analytical skills and data is leading in your actions and recommendations. You are precise and have a strong eye for detail.
  • You are fluent in English, both in writing & speaking and are excellent in presenting things in a dynamic & fun way.
