In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better

And gain insights in the different aspects of online sales and discover how strategic key account management leads to productive long-term relationships with customers, by understanding their business needs and providing tailored value propositions. You will partner with a Key Account manager and focus on making & executing long-term account plans, driving sales and analyzing & optimizing portfolio and promotions at our online key retailers Bol.com & Coolblue.

You are responsible for

  • Analyzing sell-in & sell-out, previous promotions and market developments and making recommendations for improvements
  • Preparing & taking part in a weekly monitoring cycle in which the latest developments of the key customers are discussed
  • Optimizing retailer portfolio vs. competition & other retailers
  • Maintaining the promotion calendar per key customer
  • Tracking activations on their presence and effectiveness (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Making adhoc competition and market analyses
  • Day to day account management support, participate pro-actively with professional creativity is required

You are a part of

The Online Sales team that is part of the Personal Health Benelux organization. You will report to a Key Account manager and team up with other interns with (trade)marketing or sales assignments. You will be working form our offices based at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

Depending the COVID19 situation, you will be supported to work from home. Given an improvement in this situation, the department manager will inform you when you can return working from our office located in Eindhoven at the High Tech Campus.

To succeed in this role, you‘ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master in: Business Economics, (International) Business Management, Economics, Management Sciences, Marketing or Finance
  • Analytical skills
  • An experienced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills; efficient and hands-on attitude; able to handle deadlines
  • Some experience in Sales is preferred
  • Able to work independent and in a team
  • Native Dutch speaker; fluent in English

Our intern remuneration package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €900 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €145,- net
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
