The Growth team is driving a significant part of the transformation and is responsible for commercial excellence, business development, strategy, global key accounts and deal activities (including M&A). This high caliber team is made up of around 30 employees with backgrounds in top-tier strategy consulting, private equity, and large corporates. With the transformation gaining momentum there is a high need for talent that will be able to drive critical initiatives and develop into leadership positions in the coming years.

We are looking to recruit a PRICING DIRECTOR to lead the central pricing team in Europe. You will work closely with VP’s and sales directors to design the pricing strategy and implement world class pricing & margin management tools and process while improving capabilities in the organization. The degree of internal exposure and ability to create impact is high. This role will report directly to the Director Commercial Excellence.

This is an excellent career opportunity for talented and aspiring leader with 5+ years of relevant work experience in a large (B2B) corporate or (strategy) consulting.

Job responsibilities:

  • Work with the leadership team to design & execute strategic pricing & margin management (PMM) initiatives that deliver on the transformation targets.
  • Develop and deploy pricing PMM tools, processes and reporting capabilities to ensure the sales organization makes the most optimal pricing decisions.
  • Drive the contract management process, for new and existing large deals, in order to achieve long term contracts with optimal terms & conditions.
  • Built and lead a world class pricing team by infusing new talent, developing capabilities and take a leading role in their development and progression within Trivium.
  • Ensure raw material and other inflation costs are automatically passed through fully to the customer thereby avoiding non value add annual negotiations.
  • Create performance transparency on pricing & margin management and diligently drive continuous improvement to enhance overall price realization.

Candidate profile and experience:

  • Master degree within Business or Economics
  • Experience in leading teams directly and through project basis
  • 5+ years of experience within pricing or commercial excellence in B2B industrial environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to work closely with internal business units
  • Analytical mindset with strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, identify emerging issues, analyze potential impacts and translate ideas and insights into viable recommendations for action
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must possess attention to detail, confidentiality, integrity, and the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence without authority
