The People Services Group Lead HR Advice leads the HR Advice team through the HR transformation. He/she provides direction and oversight of the specific services of the team (e.g. customer focus, quality, efficiency, innovation), fully aligned with the Voice of Customer, ensuring a strong HR service delivery. The Lead is responsible for the skills development and performance of the HR Advice team and leads projects focused on business capability improvements and employee experience closely partnering with the colleagues in the regional HR community.
Vision, Strategy & Leadership
- Provide pro-active and tactical advice and solutions to business leaders/managers on domain expertise matters and translate into local service delivery where needed
- Understand the business direction within the own region/country and be able to translate relevant insights and local requirements to own domain
- Provide guidance, support and professional development opportunities to team members
- Building and maintaining important internal and external relations that are relevant and required for People Services
Operational Excellence
- Overall accountable for service delivery in HR Advice, ensuring 2nd tier support and project management on improvement initiatives
- Team leadership for a team of 8-12 HR advisors, including coaching and professional development of the HR advisors
- Ensuring the HR advice team acts in line with the strategy and vision of People Services and define Priorities.
- Establish a close alignment and partnership between HR advisors and HR Business partners
- Responsible for deployment and execution of policies, processes and services within Benelux
- Possesses extensive knowledge of the local labor market and ensures that HR Service Delivery is aligned to and compliant with global frameworks and local laws and regulations
- Responsible for HR metrics and local SLAs , ensuring continuity of service and a great employee experience
- Drives the HR transformation through solid change management approach with HRA team and local business leaders
- Provides specialist expertise to lead domain-specific activities in accordance with policies, standard operating procedures and guidelines, acts as an escalation point for the HRA’s
- Accountable for having and maintaining up-to-date deep functional knowledge to support with key moments that matter
- Possesses a strong working knowledge of enabling technologies, systems (e.g. Workday) and processes, ensuring high quality service delivery
- Local supplier management of the HR Advice suppliers
- Collaborate with other People Services Leads for alignment on consistency, lessons learned and knowledge transfer.
- Ensuring regulatory guidelines and any updates on a process level are followed and and implemented in our way of working.
- Follow up and/ or initiate new initiatives to contribute with the complete HR advice team to a positive employee experience
Continuous Improvement
- Collaborates with other People Services Leads, HRBP’s and CoE’s to identify opportunities for improvement and to ensure alignment across countries and regions
- Responsible for identifying service issues, proactively proposing improvements and leading the implementation of changes
- Be part of the Local Improvement Committee to drive (local) improvements in service delivery in close collaboration with the HRBP(s)
- Be part of (one or more) Capability Expert Communities (SME role) to bring in the People Services perspective in the overall maintenance and improvement of HR Capabilities
- Be an ambassador of the HR transformation and adoption of the HR Service Delivery Model with the business, act as a role mode
