Background

For differentiation and promotional sake a significant part of the Benelux product portfolio undergoes a change to the appearance of it, almost all managed locally. The timely, cost effective and qualitative execution of these “repacks” is crucial to achieve service and business goals. 

General purpose of position 

To organize the planning and the follow-up of the productions of repack items with the repack service providers. Responsible for the execution of all daily operations needed for the making of repack items. Employee is in close contact with Supply Chain Operations Leader, Repackers and Suppliers. 

Responsibilities 

  • To safeguard capacity planning versus production demand and timely production of repacks
  • To collect information from APO (Purchase Requisitions) and to transform it into a Purchase Order to the re-packer. In case of promotion items use information from Visual Fabric to check that the promotion is confirmed by the customer before creating a Purchase Order.
  • Cross-check APO information with Promotional systems for promotional repacking.
  • Planning of repack standard and promotional items. To manage stocks of repack items and packaging components
  • Safeguard availability of finished products and packaging materials • Avoidance of packaging obsoletes and promotional finished products.
  • Manage stocks at subcontractors (returns, damaged goods) including the organisation of minimum 1 stock count a year
  • Responsible for the flow of finished products and packaging material between storage locations and vendors.
  • Take appropriate action when there appear to be QA problems with sourced product, for example wrongly labelled product – Rework.
  • To manage transactional postings in ERP system and solve errors • Ensure seamless flowthrough of repack transactional postings - both physical and financial - avoiding as much as possible mismatches in invoicing and Edi errors for solving of which employee is responsible him/herself (DCIW and IDOC reprocessing)
  • Represent repack in operational meetings internal and external with repacker.
  • Capacity meeting with repacker. Discuss long term planning together with repacker to prevent capacity issues.
