As a network planner you’re the spider in the web dealing with a lot of disciplines.

You’re the person that translates demand and stocks into a production plan that supports the needs of our customers.

You’re assuring that production takes time on place, stocks are managed well and non-quality costs are minimized.

As the environment you’re in is very dynamic, this requires flexibility, creativity, customer focus and being a good team-player.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum Experience: 3 years of supply chain experience
  • Higher Vocational (HBO) or Masters degree (WO)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Adaptability and speed of reaction to daily issues in operational mode, stress-resistant
  • Strong communication skills with excellent knowledge of English (fluent written and oral)
  • Experienced in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), High affinity with systems / ERP systems

What would be your key responsibilities?

Effectively manage the production planning as part of the European manufacturing network together with your peers. This to optimize the European supply solution and provide production plans at the dedicated technology required to meet sales forecast at the agreed inventory levels.

Short-Term Production Planning (1 week to 3 months):

Respond to the recommendations of the Planning Tool (Orion) and adopt production plans, considering any constraints or changes (e.g. availability of raws and packaging materials, Manufacturing and Sales performance). Communicate production plan to the Factory Schedulers, align exceptions with Value Stream Managers or Commercial and escalate the issues to Network Planning Manager as necessary.

Long-term (up to 36 months) and Medium-term Production Planning (3 to 24 months horizon):

Communicate the medium & long-term production plans, highlighting areas of concern and opportunity. Ensure appropriate use of pipeline minimum stocks, line utilization (allowing appropriate response levels) and demonstrated manufacturing capacities to deliver the best level of customer service at minimum cost. Ensure production capabilities are challenged and correctly reflected in the planning systems. Scenario building to model utilization levels for new product start- up / learning curves or line / factory shutdown scenarios. Provide relevant information and reports for the local S&OP meetings and other stakeholders if requested. Effectively manage the COR+ process with all markets.

Customer Service Level:

As a network planner you act as the guardian of case fill anticipating on short term changes but also by analyzing the root causes of low service and address the issues to the appropriate functions through existing business processes.

Stock Management:

Deliver & continually challenge Pipeline Minimum Stock (PMS) for all markets supplied. Look for opportunities and provide recommendations how to optimize inventory level and improve flexibility of Supply Chain. Balance finished goods distribution between warehouses (markets and VEG HUB) to ensure product availability and minimized aged finished goods write-offs.
