The Role:

As a Sales Intern in the Irdeto Connected Transport Team, you will be securing all the things that move on land. Your role will be to collaborate in an experienced, global team without tightly bound roles to nurture deals all the way through the Sales funnel from lead generation to contract signature. In this role you will be joining the Embedded Security Business Line. We work with cybersecurity software, services and solutions that are deployed within vehicles and their immediate ecosystem, including mobile applications and diagnostic testers to name a few examples. Our customers are leading brands within the automotive and rail rolling stock industries.

Your mission at Irdeto:

  • Filling and converting the pipeline towards the business line’s objectives and our vision of a future, where people can embrace connected vehicles without fear of cyberattacks.
  • Working with the Business Development team, contributing to all phases of the Sales process, applying your existing talent, but also providing you with opportunity to learn and practice new skills.
  • Working with external consultants to turn their expertise and networks into actionable tasks.

How you can add value to the team?

  • Proven passion for Sales.
  • Patience for hard work that does not pay off immediately.
  • Tolerance for occasional bad humor and ability to make jokes, even at failures.
  • Flexibility to pick up random stuff that needs to get done.
  • Familiarity with the B2B Sales process.
  • Familiarity with B2B Sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or Salesforce.
  • Strong English language skills all around.
  • German, French and/or Dutch skills are seen as beneficial.
  • Understanding of basic concepts in Cybersecurity is seen as beneficial.
  • Understanding of the automotive and/or rail rolling stock industries is seen as beneficial.
