The mission.

As an organisational designer, you will design and build innovative, effective and sustainable business models to enable new customer strategies at the world’s most iconic brands.

You are passionate about bringing new business models to market. You combine practical organisational design experience with a passion for innovative operating models. You have experience of both strategy and implementation. You realise that great business ideas can be customer-centric, profitable and sustainable all at the same time. Your focus is building businesses that perform.

In practical terms, here's the kind of thing you might get up to:

  • Working closely with our partners to develop new business models, operating models and commercial models that can help them succeed in their markets;
  • Designing new business models that enhance and extend the brand overall customer experience while creating new opportunities for revenue;
  • Creating compelling new value propositions;
  • Understanding the impact of a new service to an existing business and frame the required changes, whether these are organisational, business processes, and or new tools and technology solutions;
  • Modelling the anticipated operational and commercial performance of a new service/offering (in the beginning and at scale) to validate commercial ambition versus business operations cost;
  • Designing the business processes and procedures required to operate a new service;
  • Designing the organisational structures, roles, strategic assets, governance, internal KPIs, and operating models to help the business drive its own innovation;
  • Working with the business to facilitate organisational changes rollouts at scale across country teams if necessary;
  • Ensuring alignment and transparency across different company domains (e.g., IT on technical solutions); and
  • Designing, leading, and measuring experiments (e.g., pilots, proof of concepts…) to gather feedback and make the concept better.

In addition, you will get to be part of Veriteer's exciting adventure:

  • We want to walk the talk, and demonstrate what good really looks like. This means bringing a range of management skills to help our partner brands achieve better performance.
  • You will be working both independently or as part of a project team depending on the project at both brand sites and in our offices.
  • The dynamic nature of our work means that your tasks can vary, sometimes day-to-day, and include workshop facilitation, preparation of documents and presentations, delivery of training and more.
  • Our work often requires us to co-locate with our partner brands on their sites.
  • We need passionate and ambitious business designers that can be the tip of the arrow on all of our work, both internally and for partner brands.

The bit about you.

To be an organisational designer at Veriteer, you will need to demonstrate experience as follows (at least 1 year of experience for Junior, 3 years' for Medior and 5 years' for Senior).

  • Experience in target operating model or organisational design – structures, roles, responsibilities, governance and performance management.
  • Experience of business analysis, process engineering or continuous improvement.
  • Experience in successfully bringing new services and propositions to market, whether as an advisor, entrepreneur or intrapreneur.
  • Experience in workshop facilitation and development of presentation materials.
  • Ability to work in complex and dynamic environments within multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Ability to absorb information quickly and deliver within tight timeframes.
  • Ability to coach and teach other designers about business / operating models.
  • Resilience and an ability to multi-task.
  • A high standard of professionalism, organisation and business acumen.
  • Great team communication skills, particularly when working remotely.
  • Proficiency in English (creative writing level), other language proficiency is a plus.
  • A master’s degree in business, or demonstrable life experience.

We would also love it if you have:

  • Experience and comfort in a fast-paced start-up environment;
  • A self-motivated positive and achiever attitude;
  • Passion for customer experience; and
  • Curiosity to learn new IT tools and systems.
