The software that your team creates will be used by the 10 million of students on the Scribbr website. So, make sure that your software can handle some load ;-) You get instant user feedback and if new tools have traction, the team keeps improving them. If not, we start working on new ideas.
This turned out to be a successful strategy and we are looking for skilled people to further expand this team.
The stack
React, Node.js, TypeScript, Styled Components, PostgreSQL, NLP, AI, Single Page Application, Heroku, Github (actions), PDF.js.
About you
- 1+ years of full-time professional working experience
- 3+ years of solid Javascript (back-end) experience
- Experience with front-end frameworks (although this won’t be your focus)
- Experience with (or interest in) NLP/Machine learning is a big plus
- You like to investigate and solve problems that no one else has done before and find the smartest solution for it
- A great team player with an eye for detail
- Located in The Netherlands
