Internship: Healthcare Transformation Services (HTS)

Our HTS consultants help to improve quality, efficiency, and performance across the hospital and healthcare organizations with our customers. Combining clinical pathway redesign; patient flow and process optimization focusing on different departments separately or combined throughout the hospital. Together with performance analytics, a digital transformation mindset and the Philips Solution portfolio in their back-pocket HTS combines input from different angles to ensure operational excellence for lasting impact.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be part of the central team of HTS, with a global scope, contributing to the strategy deployment and set-up of operational planning and processes to ensure business growth across the three HTS practices and market teams.

You are responsible for

  • Participate during the strategy development and HTS practice set-up. Activities such as providing support with processing and preparing materials for creating clear value propositions of our practices and/or set of services our consultants deliver globally.
  • Support in customer-related strategic consultancy preparation (sales) across the HTS Markets such as preparing customer facing (sales) materials.
  • Support in execution (delivery) of strategic consultancy. Activities ranging from data analysis (e.g. to enrich customer journey frameworks), project management activities and business operational requirements (e.g. staff/patient workflow optimization).
  • Assist with maturing the HTS central operating mechanisms related activities that make the team a high performing. Activities ranging from set-up of clear operational processes supporting the HTS global such as daily management and operation dashboards for efficient funnel and opportunity management, but also think along in the set-up training and development roadmap of our HTS teams.

You are a part of

The Philips’ global network of strategic healthcare consultants: Healthcare Transformation Services (HTS). This is the core of the HTS business and is working closely together with the market teams on a global level. You will be part of the HTS talent pool and centrally positioned to work across HTS practice areas; propositions such as: Hospital clinical excellence and operational services, Hospital Experience Design services such as latest proposition with Disney, and Hospital digital transformation services.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently in the last year of your Master degree in Management, Business Management, Data Science or Healthcare related with strong academic record
  • Passionate about healthcare and strategy development
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion to drive business growth
  • Excellent communication skills; written & verbal
  • Ability to collaborate across Philips businesses and market teams on cross-functional issues, teams and leverage the network within the organization
  • English, Dutch is a plus
