Help us build the future of healthcare.

Testing is an art, a science and a craft. In the early nineties, testing was often delegated to paying customers, with predictable results. Those days are thankfully behind us (or are they? we’re looking at you, Cyberpunk 2077). Now it’s time to take the next step in testing by fully automating it. If this is your area of expertise, and if you want to test code that doesn’t just impact, say, gamers but can improve people's health (and give millions of people glorious decades of gaming experiences), we want to meet you. Team up with Quin and test our AI-driven healthcare app that’s making healthcare simpler, faster and more personalized – for everyone.

Your operating theater

As QA Engineer you join one of the Scrum teams that co-create an AI-driven app that identifies health issues and grants instant access to medical support. A world’s first, so everything we envision is built (and tested, and tested again) from scratch. We subscribe to the ‘if it can be automated, that sounds like a great idea’ school of thought, so we work with tools like Detox, Cypress, Gatlin, REST-assured and Cucumber. And we gladly look to you for inspiration when it comes to dashboarding and/or structuring test plans.

As QA Engineer you

+ Work shoulder to shoulder (we draw the line at 1.5 meters) with developers and the Chapter Lead.

+ Help devise and implement automated testing

+ Join in the Scrum rituals, assist in predefinements (as QA you know the product best), and test code with our and/or your favorite tools

+ Discuss issues and ideas with Front and Back End Engineers, e.g. to further refine our testing vision and strategy

+ Contribute to dashboarding (currently in the ‘grassroots project’ stage) by building them and/or providing incisive suggestions and feedback

As Quality Assurance Engineer you help a development team perfect their part (both front and back end) of an AI-driven app that’s revolutionizing and personalizing healthcare. Depending on which team you join, you will test code that powers Selfcare, GP Care, Specialist Care or My Health functionalities for web and mobile. And yes, you are a full-fledged team member because QA is too important to delegate to outsiders; we’re painting a better future here, a Bob Ross-esque wonderland. ;-) Whether you zoom in on video solutions for medical consultations or our innovative symptom checker: your insights are invaluable, and your contribution is greatly respected. If you’re eager to switch between test automation responsibilities and inspiring juniors, feel free to apply for the lead position!

How you make us better.

By helping us raise the testing bar to dizzying heights. A must, because in healthcare, ‘getting things almost right’ is synonymous with ‘getting them pretty disastrously wrong’. This role calls for a pioneering mindset – yes, we did the groundwork, but we’re still in the early stages and need to mature and scale quickly. And by now, you probably already guessed that we appreciate team members who go the extra mile. If something isn’t quite up to your standards, say so and point our developers in the right direction.

  • 3 or more years of testing experience, preferably with modern tools like Detox, Cypress and/or Cucumber. We award bonus points for Kotlin/Java expertise for backend or Javascript/Typescript/React Native for frontend.
  • API testing experience would be great.
  • Used to working in ‘privacy-first’ settings where security is a concern.
  • Dashboarding experience: you quickly know what is called for.
  • Experience in setting up testing strategies is a huge plus.
  • You’re comfortable in fast-paced work environments.
  • English is the language of choice. Maar je mag hier geen vertaler voor nodig hebben.

How we make you better.

We hope the opportunity to reinvent healthcare with us gets your adrenaline pumping. That’s what makes your colleagues tick. Speaking of which, you’ll be working with top professionals in the medical and tech domains. People who love to bounce ideas off of each other, so learning from peers is a given. The environment is what you expect from an ambitious scale-up: fluid, uplifting and fun. Challenge a colleague to a game of ping pong. Grab a quick snack (or a healthy meal) in our cafeteria. Participate in bootcamps. Et cetera. And yes, we also pay you: between €45k and (if you have more experience) 70k per year.

We are developing the world’s first AI-based healthcare support app. Our digital platform helps identify health issues quickly and empowers users to get the right medical care at the right time. Our platform is built from the ground up - with emphasis on simplicity and a great user experience - in close cooperation with international software and medical experts.
