A day at HQ

So how did yesterday’s email campaign go? You start your day with some awesome news. The campaign you ran on our existing customers to tell them more about a feature we recently launched performed very well. This gives you a boost for the first meeting of the day. You meet up with the Customer Success team. This team, led by Team Lead Saskia, interacts a lot with customers and it’s important for you to get all the info first-hand. During this meeting, you dive deeper into the latest customer satisfaction survey results and brainstorm on how to leverage them the best way in an upcoming campaign.

After a quick lunch, you work on something you really wanted to work on since day one: Zivver’s annual conference. It’s something new for Zivver too and planning the first (digital) annual client conference is quite something. You meet up with VP’s Jori (Marketing) and Brenda (Sales Core Markets & Customer Success) to discuss some of the ideas you’ve been working on. Wow, is it 5 PM already? Time to head to the fridge. You wrap up your day with the marketing weekly social chat. Since we all work remotely, we meet up every week for some informal after-work drinks. There’s only one rule: we don’t talk about work.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with customers to demonstrate Zivver’s value, increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Initiate, lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, annual conferences, awards programs, onboarding and ongoing nurture campaigns.
  • Compose and send customer marketing emails.
  • Identifying key customers that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
  • Connecting with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle.
  • Create special marketing content for customer success to help at-risk customers with training.
  • Provide product feedback given by advocates to the Product Marketing Lead and Product Management team

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on communications, marketing, and business
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing
  • Previous experience in Customer Service, Customer Success, or Account Management experience
  • Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and channels, including Customer Relationship Management platforms (SalesForce) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot)
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and advocacy
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes
  • Experience in a SaaS business preferred
  • You speak Dutch and English and are able to write effective copy in both languages
