As a Customer Marketing Manager, it’s your job to develop strong relationships with our customers which will result in greater sales and reference ability. You do this by creating effective email campaigns and onboarding materials like how-to-guides and videos. But also, by initiating events. You have a great starting position to work with, and the opportunity to make existing customers even happier with your outstanding marketing skills while taking the marketing plan to the next level.

This is a brand new position within Zivver and according to Jori, your VP of Marketing, it's quite unique too. “We’re specifically looking for someone with a background in B2B marketing and experience in working their marketing magic with existing customers by upselling products and increasing usage both on a strategic and practical level. It’s not the type of job you see every day.”

A day at HQ
So how did yesterday’s email campaign go? You start your day with some awesome news. The campaign you ran on our existing customers to tell them more about a feature we recently launched performed very well. This gives you a boost for the first meeting of the day. You meet up with the Customer Success team. This team, led by Team Lead Saskia, interacts a lot with customers and it’s important for you to get all the info first-hand. During this meeting, you dive deeper into the latest customer satisfaction survey results and brainstorm on how to leverage them the best way in an upcoming campaign.
After a quick lunch, you work on something you really wanted to work on since day one: Zivver’s annual conference. It’s something new for Zivver too and planning the first (digital) annual client conference is quite something. You meet up with VP’s Jori (Marketing) and Brenda (Sales Core Markets & Customer Success) to discuss some of the ideas you’ve been working on. Wow, is it 5 PM already? Time to head to the fridge. You wrap up your day with the marketing weekly social chat. Since we all work remotely, we meet up every week for some informal after-work drinks. There’s only one rule: we don’t talk about work.
