EMEA Engagement Strategy Manager

The Engagement Strategy Team is the creative wing of the Technology Strategy organisation for Oracle’s inside sales teams in Europe Middle East and Africa. We support sales teams with creative and interesting ways of engaging their customers. We are looking for a creative person, who can bring ideas to execution with excellent project leadership, collaboration skills and a passion for all things digital and social media related.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end program design, development and delivery of a steady stream of simple customer engagement programs, ready for digital sales execution.
  • Source and convert good ideas into customer-facing content and sales ready programs.
  • Generate and qualify demand for programs that have instant appeal for customer-facing teams to execute
  • Project lead virtual teams to deliver rich enablement on key messages and how to use sales content in context.
  • Establish and nurture a community of experts who feed into the development and review of customer facing and sales enablement contentApproach design from a user-centric and customer-centric perspective, constantly innovating, improving and seeking feedback.

What will you do as a Creative Program Developer?

  • You are creative! You must be able to translate complex concepts into compelling storiesYou are decisive! You will work with regional sales teams, and program idea curators to select and prioritise the best stories develop into full programs
  • You are a team player! You will work with a team of people from different backgrounds to develop the story into a complete demand generation program (from target customer to revenue)
  • You understand sales! You will work with sales teams to identify the best content/assets to help them deliver the stories to their customersYou are influential!
  • You have the power and confidence to influence corporate team such as Product Marketing & Product Strategy to develop the content needed to support the programs
  • You are good communicator! You will work with internal communication specialists to ensure all programs are supported by impactful communications to regional sales teamsYou are digital!
  • You are a digital advisor and can understand digital and social media and how to leverage it for customer engagement in a b2b environment.

Required skills and experience

  • :5+ years’ experience in sales and marketing (content marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, sales enablement and demand generation as strongest match).
  • Experience in program design, project leadership, execution and critical review
  • Experience in creative writing, script writing, storytelling, visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into simple messaging with a compelling delivery.
  • Experience in sales enablement at scale, for in-person and virtual delivery across EMEA region.
  • Proven ability to manage virtual teams of multiple disciplines throughout project delivery / program creation process.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels in the organization and work across multiple lines of business and countries.
  • Proven experience in driving innovative approaches within sales, marketing or agency organizations, delivering significant pipeline and revenue results.
  • Fluency in English essential; knowledge of additional European languages an advantage.High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
  • Passion to seek better ways to drive customer engagement, demand generation programs & execution.
  • Ability to self-manage, with strong organizational and planning skills essential.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.

A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product*s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
