Job Description

Start date: We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, no later than Q2 2021.

Duration: 6 months (We do prefer students able to extend for another 6 months)

You can combine this internship with your thesis, but we require a minimum of 32 hours to work at our projects.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Discover how the program management operations, are structured to drive alignment, transparency and enable fast decision-making. You will work on the tools to drive the professionalization of program management and experience first-hand stakeholder management.

You are responsible for

  • Support the program manager in driving the end-to-end execution of marketing projects within Consumer Marketing roadmap
  • Connect with relevant project stakeholders and support the Program manger in alignment of scope, required deliverables and execution strategy
  • Support the program manager in formulating the project plan in consultation with core project team and key stakeholders.
  • Collect input resourcing needs based on roadmap and actual workload
  • Support reporting of performance status on project & program level
  • Facilitate set up and on-boarding of digital sharing and collaboration tools – like Miro
  • Support & Develop Employee Engagement improvement activities*

You are a part of

The Philips Personal Health Creation Strategy and Production Team, which consists of specialists in different marketing creation, production and project management functions, covering end-to-end, 360 content creation through both physical and digital (CGI) assets production. Reporting to the Lead program manager, you will support the management of project execution with a 360 approach to ensure effective management of scope, timings, budget, resources and to action upon risks and issues in a controlled way, with an audience focus.

The internship can be fulfilled online during the COVID19 situation, but depending on the Philips guidelines, we would like to welcome you at our head office in Amsterdam as soon as possible again.

Meanwhile it is also necessary to physically attend shooting days (which is also one the most fun parts!), so it is recommended to locate yourself in the Netherlands.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master in next study fields; Marketing Communications, Business Administration or Business Management
  • Open and flexible mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High drive and energy level
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written
