Main purpose of the role:

Responsible to develop and grow the planning competency in the Business Applications department for GrandVision’s IT Services. Capabilities and processes around supply and assortment planning have been designed and are being deployed globally as part of a strategic program within the company. The IT capabilities underpinning these planning processes are sourced from Districon (S&OP) and O9 (assortment planning).

The role has the following domains:

  • sales forecast and demand planning
  • supply planning
  • assortment planning

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and understand gaps, design solutions as required to improve the planning process including:automation of processesreduction of cycle timesimprovement of productivityenhancement of customer and supply network collaborationvendor managed inventory processstatistical forecasting

  • Evaluate business problem statements, analyze, articulate and lead in end to end solution build including training.

  • Own the solution architecture for planning systems, integration in the GV landscape and the functional specifications and configurations of the involved solutions.

  • Develop the competency, by establishing active knowlegde management and international collaboration between business users.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT / relevant subject
  • Working experience as business analyst in the Retail business domain
  • 5+ years of experience in implementation S&OP and or assortment planning processes and software
  • Proven experience in system analysis and software development
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Team player mentality and good collaboration, able to effectively influence others
  • Proactive attitude
  • Client-focused approach to work
  • High level of resilience and able to cope with pressure Result-oriented
