About us

In major cities, up to 15 percent of urban space is used for parking. At the same time, roughly 85 percent of existing parking spaces remain underutilised. At ParkBee, we are on a mission to change that. We develop smart technology to optimise the use of existing parking space, thereby allowing cities to reduce on-street parking and give space back to the city. These last few years, we have seen our business grow exponentially. Now, we’re now looking for a Business Analyst that can help expand even further.

What you’ll be doing

As ParkBee is a data-driven company, we feel it’s extremely important to make informed decisions about our business. From predicting revenues and supporting investment decisions, to identifying key metrics for business improvements and establishing smart pricing strategies. To support our rapid growth, we are looking for someone who can strengthen our global finance team with high-quality analyses and hypothesis generation.

Your main tasks include:

  • Collecting and integrating data from ParkBee’s various databases, as well as from other (public) sources, while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Analysing and developing data to provide relevant key metrics that will support investment and business decisions, but also inform on the current state, trends, and exceptions.
  • Presenting findings in the most effective format, including operational reports, historical trend reporting, exception reports, executive dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Maintaining the quality and consistency of data factors to ensure that the data remains usable long term.
  • Generating hypotheses for business improvement opportunities, validating this with data and facts, and developing deployment projects to capitalise on these opportunities.
  • Supporting in optimising our tools, systems, and business processes.

Who we’re looking for:

We're on the lookout for an upcoming professional with first-class analytical skills. A creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and the ambition to make an impact on our business. You are innovative, passionate about numbers, but also see the bigger picture. Aside from that, it’s important to have strong presentation and communication skills that allow you to turn complex matters into clear insights.

Requirements for this position:

  • A Master’s degree in Econometrics, Business Economics, Business Analysis Mathematics or an equivalent relevant (quantitative) study;
  • Demonstrable affinity with (or experience in) finance;
  • 0-5 years of work experience;
  • Proven experience in working with Excel;
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbally;
  • A valid EU work permit.

Our culture

Our team is ambitious, hardworking and determined. Pushing boundaries is one of our core values, meaning that we are at all times looking for opportunities to change the traditional mobility industry. We motivate each other to get the best out of ParkBee and ourselves. We celebrate our successes together, and encourage each other to grow. We believe in personal development and in the cooperation of our teams: that's how we make our business a success!

What you'll get in return:

  • The opportunity and freedom to make a huge impact on our products and growth;
  • A competitive base salary based on your experience and potential;
  • Designated time for personal development with an allocated budget to grow;
  • A very diverse team with currently 13 nationalities;
  • Regular team events and Friday drinks;
  • Virtual shares.
