Why do we need you?

We’re looking for a self-starter who takes a leading role in further developing our fast-growing business and in driving growth. Over the past two years, we have built an excellent basis with enthusiastic customers. We are serving more and more larger customers and the sales procedures in the larger corporate or government sector regularly involve a tender (RFI / RFQ / RFQ) process.

The new role of Tender Business Manager has two aspects: finding and winning complex tenders, and setting up a structured and scalable approach to deliver onto these. As such, the role interfaces with both senior clients stakeholders and almost all functions within Lepaya, and is a great stepping stone to senior management. We also view it as a great consulting-exit.

Specifically, what would we expect you to deliver over the next 6-12 months?

  • Sourced and responded to 10+ relevant tenders of large corporates or (semi-)governments, with a 30%+ win rate;
  • A scalable process to create innovative proposals that blow the competition away;
  • A state-of-the-art “PMO”-approach to deliver on our promises in global, multi-stakeholders environments;

Requirements

In an ideal world, who would you be?

  • You have an entrepreneurial and commercially savvy mindset;
  • You have experience in creating (extensive) commercial proposals;
  • You have 3+ years of experience in running projects in challenging settings with complex stakeholder management (e.g. multinationals, on board level);
  • You are eager to be responsible for growth, you will do whatever it takes to make growth happen and all you strive for is ambitious goals;
  • You understand our customer - either because you have worked with HR professionals before, or because you love the segment and are naturally in sync with their challenges;
  • You have affinity with learning, training or personal development;
  • You are analytical and data is the basis of your daily work;
  • You are self-motivated and self-organized;
  • You are fluent in Dutch & English;

We value capabilities over formal experience, yet what would we love to see on your resume?

  • 5+ years overall work experience in a high-performance context with high demanding decision-makers and stakeholders;
  • 3+ years managed complex projects in complex stakeholder environment, either on the consulting side or on the commercial (bid) side;
  • A relevant degree from a top university or college;
