Introduction

Are you a Bachelor student in IT or Software Engineering with experience in database technology? Are you looking for a pioneering internship? Then this internship assignment could be interesting for you.

Job Mission

To prepare our service engineers, ASML offers internal technical service training. We do this in our training centers all over the world. One of the challenges is to match the need from our service organization with the supply of the training organization. We call this process “Training Demand & Supply Management”. This process requires a huge amount of data manipulation. Our goal is to automate this process.

Job Description

You will design a scalable and future proof digital infrastructure to support the Training Demand & Supply Management process. You will investigate which information is needed, how to collect and manipulate this information, and which infrastructure to use. You will improve our current digital back bone (database) to support this. The internship assignment is flexible and therefore the specifics can be discussed during the interview.

Education

You are a Bachelor student Software Engineering, Information Technology or related. You are familiar with database technology, data collection and data enrichment. Experience with SQL is required. Additionally, you have a great willingness to learn and have a proactive attitude. The English language is required, both written and verbally.

This is a Bachelor apprentice internship for 3-5 days a week with duration of a minimum 3 months (this can be adapted based on the study requirements). The start date is in September 2020.

Please keep in mind that we can only consider students (who are enrolled at a school during the whole internship period) for our internships and graduation assignments.
