The Operations Benelux team consist of various roles that make Excellent Execution a success. One of these roles is the Information Management Lead BNX role. Less time spent on Running the Business to reinvest in Growing the Business whilst Improving Customer and Employee Satisfaction is the vision of operations. Operations brings Customer Development, Supply Chain and Sales within Unilever Benelux together in realizing excellent execution. The 4 principles driving Operations are: end 2 end ownership, maximized automation, one version of the truth and continuous improvement. JOB SUMMARY

  • Lead the interaction between the business teams (CCBTs, CD) and the Technical part of the IM team, solving both day-to-day and longer-term business questions.
  • Lead the IM strategy that will allow the organization and the team to work with one version of the truth and sustain the confidence on the data, whilst establishing a trusted, simple and intuitive user experience.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the BNX MSO towards more fact based decision making on those things that matter via data driven tooling.
  • Help / coach the team to deliver better, faster and more holistic (covering the angles from SC, Finance and CD) and therefore better tooling / solutions.
  • Lead the organizational change by implement different ways of working via the optimal use of new and existing systems / data.
  • Prioritize consequently the projects that are driven by the team end to end– together with the Tech lead. Establish the right balance between short term solutions and longer term, structural improvements.
  • Start the data science journey: establish a continuous improvement mindset and learning cycle across the IM team, supported by technical expertise (external where required) and keep evolving this over time.
  • Step up the simplicity and intuitiveness of information digestion for the BNX business.
  • Remain connected with Global, regional and other local data driven initiatives to derive synergies and prevent duplication. Further integrate the Belgium and NL way of working.
  • Deliver and continuously improve the monthly finance reporting cycle.
  • Report to Operations Lead

KEY REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven ability to quickly read (business) processes by working with different disciplines and good understanding of business questions and challenges from both a local and a global perspective.
  • Proven ability to work with Senior Stakeholders (local and global / regional).
  • Proven experience Excel (I.e. VBA) or Powerquery / PowerBI development
  • Fluent English and Dutch communication skills, verbal & written
  • Education: Master in Business (Finance, SC, Business) or Data/information management
  • Years of Experience: min 5 years of experience in different functions across Unilever in which data played an important role
