Description

We are looking for an undergraduate to do a 12 month placement within our Ownership Services, Service Operations department. You will be based in Bognor Regis in our new Technology and Logistics Centre and working for one of Britain’s leading automotive brand.

The Rolls-Royce Service Operations department provide a range of support functions for our global dealer network in order to maximise customer satisfaction. One area of this department is Warranty Management, ensuring correct payment of all submitted warranty claims in an efficient and timely manner. You will be involved in global cost analysis, import duty evaluation and tax analysis, to support with our dealer reimbursement process.

What awaits you?

  • Reporting global dealer key performance results.
  • Support in the evaluation of Import duty, VAT and Tax.
  • Liaising with our internal finance department on payment queries.
  • Recording and distributing the minutes for key warranty meetings.
  • Warranty cost analysis.
  • Supporting with departmental project work.
  • Creating/updating dealer communication bulletins.
  • Helping to develop and create new warranty processes and procedures.
  • Preparing team and department presentations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Studying a Business/Finance or related degree, on track to achieve a 2:1.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP an advantage.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail including thorough and precise processing of information.
  • Experience of working with databases.
  • Passion for the automotive industry.
