Working closely with our VP of Operations, you will be the person in charge of hiring and retaining the best talent at Echobox.

We are a fast-growing AI company with clients in over 40 countries, including The Times, The Guardian and Le Monde. Our aim is to more than double the size of our team over the coming months.

You will be responsible for devising, implementing and supervising a new recruitment strategy to achieve our ambitious hiring goals, as well as giving recommendations to improve and streamline processes pertaining to employee happiness, recognition, performance reviews and feedback cycles between C-level officers and staff.

The role will be split between sourcing the best possible talent and developing and implementing a plan to maintain and increase skilled employee retention.

This is a new role. We are looking for an individual who is willing to take ownership of our recruiting strategy and think creatively about how we can grow our team as quickly as possible. While we welcome previous experience in HR, Recruiting and/or Operations, we think this role is suitable for any candidate who is open to a challenge and able to demonstrate a capacity for creativity, hard work and keeping things organised.

Key Goals & Responsibilities

  • Minimise time to hiring by developing and implementing a scalable sourcing strategy (including direct sourcing).
  • Grow and maintain our recruiting pipeline by managing and improving our Applicant Tracking System. This will include screening and interviewing candidates.
  • Improve our employer brand across all digital and offline channels. This will include attending events, looking after our careers page and working with recruiters.
  • Contribute to the development of the company culture by managing perks and organising social and team building events to help foster a positive working environment.
  • Manage various case work including absence, performance management and review, training, redundancy (where applicable) and other ad hoc employee relations cases.
