We’re looking for a Trade Marketing & New Business Manager to join our E-commerce team. This is a newly created role in the professional beauty division that will see you bring our plans and execution with our webshop partners to new heights. You will be creating 360-degree plans for our E-commerce clients to create compelling online experiences for our brands, while driving and maximizing the turnover and profitability. You will also drive new business opportunities and be their direct business partner.

The Trade Marketing & New Business Manager E-commerce is an ambassador of the Coty brands, creating and executing customer plans in line with the E-commerce strategy and using commercial acumen to drive sales. The role requires combining commercial skills with online/E-commerce knowhow to be able to deliver on business targets. He or she will be working closely with the Webshop & Content Manager to ensure perfect E-commerce channel execution.

Reporting to the Head of E-commerce, you will experience an industry on the move. The E-commerce market and players are innovating at a high pace. The online channel offers a lot of opportunities for Coty and is marked as having strategic importance. The time is now to join us on this entrepreneurial journey!

THE ROLE

In this role you will be responsible for:

Business Performance

  • Creating customer plans & activations based on the overall E-commerce strategy to win with customers, brands & end consumers. Delivering the go to market strategy and ensuring plans are implemented with excellence;
  • Achieving commercial targets, such as sales, market-share and profitability, through perfect plan and execution in partnership with our e-retailers;
  • Ownership of the day to day relationship with customers for their brand portfolio;
  • Developing a Joint Business Plan and action plans with the customers, providing required strategies, financial deliverables and capabilities.
  • Developing and growing new business opportunities as a direct business partner.

Strategic Contribution

  • Creating strong plans and perfect execution to win with our online retailers;
  • Building strategic business partnerships with our online retailers and develop new E-commerce accounts;
  • Contributing to the growth and execution excellence of the online channel;
  • Contributing to the setup and success of the new E-commerce team.

People and Stakeholder Management

  • Working closely with the E-commerce Webshop & Content Manager to win online with our customers;
  • Being a reliable commercial partner for the Head of E-commerce.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential

  • Bachelor degree; advanced degree is a plus;
  • 3+ years work experience, but quality over quantity;
  • Experience in working with clients in B2B, B2C or Retail;
  • Strong track record in delivering commercial results;
  • A confident and articulate communicator with strong negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical skills to distill actionable insights from data;
  • Have a business partner mindset combined with strong commercial skills. In touch with retail reality, able to analyze market trends & translate into strategies & actions;
  • Solid team player who is able to align customer needs with company strategy;
  • Think & act like a start-up mentality: entrepreneurial and high ownership;
  • Proactive & innovative as well as a healthy dose of pragmatism and able to deal with day to day challenges;
  • Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and English.

Desirable

  • Proven skills or knowhow in Digital marketing, E-Commerce and/or E-retail;
  • Affinity with Beauty. Prior beauty category experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.
