Commercial Operations & Systems department exists of 2 teams. The Commercial Operations team is responsible for supporting our Buying department with all kind of commercial related activities. The Product Master Data & Process team is responsible for all the controls in our Product Master Data flow and for the management of the systems mainly used in the Commercial domain. We have a strong focus on supporting the business by optimizing and describing commercial and quality process for our products and buying systems. To expand our team, we are looking for a Process Manager.

What are the main responsibilities? As Process Manager you:

  • Are the single point of contact for the Commercial processes where this refers to definition, documentation and implementation of such processes. For example processes related to quality, sourcing, direct import and seasonal returns.
  • Coordinate inter-process changes with other process owners and provide process ownership through design, implementation and continuous improvement activities in the process life cycle.
  • Identify and assimilate similar and/or overlapping activities/initiatives within Commerce.
  • Work with all functions within the Commercial domain to ensure processes are executed as designed and measured accurately and completely.
  • Facilitate resolution of interface problems with other process owners.
  • Align with team members and business process owners to set priorities and clearly understands business needs.
  • Communicate complex business process information in understandable fashion for optimum comprehension and acceptance.

In this role you will report to the Program & Process Manager Commercial Operations & Systems and will work in close cooperation with the process owners and stakeholders within the company.

What makes a good Process Manager Commerce at Action?

The Process Manager at Action enjoys stakeholder management! As communication is the key for this role, we expect you to have good communication skills. You have a proactive approach and execute tasks with pace and urgency. Besides that you also have:

  • Professional and intellectual abilities at Bachelor level, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Process management in a retail- or logistics organization.
