Description

The Software Development team is looking for an intern to join them for a 12 month internship commencing on the 29th of June 2020. We’re looking for a technically driven individual with a strong eye for detail. A natural flair for data and numbers is essential, whilst a passion for digital products and technology is also key. Ideally you will have code writing and testing experience as we will be putting you in close contact with our development partners and likely sending you to work with them during the placement.

What awaits you?

  • Analysing APIs and data services.
  • Providing system support and investigating user issues.
  • Work with the wider team to define product strategy.
  • Managing of data analytics tools.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Ideally studying towards a degree in Computer Science and on track to achieve at least a 2:1.
  • A learning mind-set, willing to constantly learn new disciplines and skills, attitude is very important to success in this team.
  • Detail orientated, the devil is in the detail so you have to care about it.
  • Used to working with numbers and complex data sets.
  • Code writing and testing experience.
  • Knowledge of/experience using Excel, SQL and Java Web Development Kit
  • A digital native, some analytics experience would be a bonus.
  • An outgoing, well rounded, and inquisitive personality.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for technology and data, including the ability to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Data analysis presentation skills/experience is desirable but no essential.
