As Pricing Manager you are part of the Product and Propositions Management and Development (PPMD) team. This team is responsible for the overall design and delivery of the Customer Value Propositions, for bringing those to market and to manage their performance. In this critical new role you will report to the Team Lead Proposition Management.

Within the team the Pricing Manager will lead the development of pricing initiatives and manage pricing operations. You have a solid understanding of how to tune in to customer's needs, including the needs of our channel partners (like lease companies and resellers). You understand how pricing is a key part of our customer value propositions, and you have a good commercial sense in how to price and structure pricing for our products and services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define, develop, review, and maintain pricing strategies, policies, systems, and processes.
  • Implement pricing strategies, plans, and budget for propositions, products, services and subscriptions in line with company strategy and goals for long-term success and sustainable growth.
  • Determine optimal pricing and sustainable margins by evaluating and considering purchasing, production and other costs, while considering European and local competition, regulations, and market constraints.
  • Evaluate new pricing models, product packages, bundles, including leasing propositions and subscription services, by measuring customer lifetime value and evaluating factors like the cost of acquiring a customer, the cost of delivering services and all operational costs involved.
  • Working closely with multiple functional areas such as Supply Chain, Procurement,Finance, Operations, Sales and Marketing, and integrate information across those fields to support and advise key business decision makers and senior management with proactive proposals.
  • Maintain, analyse and communicate pricing information within Marketing, Sales and Operations so that the organisation understands the business' pricing relative to competition.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations and bids, proposal development, to assess the impact of pricing and discount programs on profit margins.

Requirements

  • 5 years of working experience in pricing management, revenue management or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills, highly accurate and critical thinker.
  • An in-depth understanding of financial and business models.
  • Strong knowledge of management operations and accounting.
  • Pragmatic, self starting, and excellent communicator on all levels.
  • Goal oriented, structured and getting things done mentality.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing or Finance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
