CGI Space Netherlands is looking for a Security Support Consultant to join our client based location in Italy.

Your day-to-day activities

As a Communication Security Support Engineer you will support the COMSEC activities and studies performed in our offices in Rotterdam with occasional travel to the client’s site. Some of the main activities are: analysis of KM (Key Management) and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) system and procedures, preparation and delivery of training related to COMSEC and in particular of SINA (Secure Inter-Network Architecture), and other related activities.

Things you need to be succesful

  • A relevant Bachelor or Master degree;
  • Good client facing skills / Interpersonal skills;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in practical COMSEC security (e.g. COMSEC handling procedures, cryptography analysis, etc.);
  • Knowledge and practical experience with SINA crypto system;
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Key Management and Public Key Management systems;
  • Experience in COMSEC related training and certification;
  • Preferably drafting skills (i.e. reports of activity);
  • EU Passport holder.

The successful candidate must hold a valid EU personnel security clearance at the level of CONFIDENTIAL or above or be able and willing to apply for a security clearance.

With almost 40 years in the industry, CGI Space is a growing business with exciting projects and prospects across the Navigation, Security, Earth Observation and Satcoms domains. We currently have around 500 members working on projects in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands. You will get the opportunity to work for Galileo. Galileo is Europe’s own global satellite system and currently consists of a constellation of 22 satellites. It is capable of providing a highly accurate, guaranteed global positioning service under civilian control. The system is still under development and has recently entered the Exploitation Phase. Our team is responsible for the development of the Key Management Facility of the Galileo Mission Segment.

Your main base office will be located in Rotterdam and you will be working on our client based location in Italy, with periodic travel to Germany and occasional travel to France.
