PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY:

The Brand Content & Alliances (BCA) Intern will assist on various Ford Primary Brand and Performance initiatives within the department, including the Drive 4 UR School / Drive 4 UR Community / Driven to Give programs; Ford Warriors in Pink, Ford STEAM Experience and various research, sponsorships, activations and events supporting Ford Performance work. The BCA intern will assist dealers / schools / organizations in hosting events, and provide overall support to the larger BCA team in program execution, event activations, communication, strategic thinking and problem solving.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist dealerships, schools and organizations in hosting D4URS/D4URC/DTG events, including drafting and responding to emails / managing email communications, phone calls and voicemails

• Monitor event issues, actively problem solve and provide resolutions to the team

• Work on various research requests, including competitor programs, partnership opportunities, social media, event research, etc.

• Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System.

• Supports/facilitates the mandatory adherence to ISO9001 requirements, processes and procedures.

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Ability to effectively and confidently communicate information in both verbal and written formats (development of all activation decks, event research and recaps, client presentation of new event ideas, etc.)

• Ability to address difficult issues, work under pressure, follow-through and solve problems quickly

• Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and desire to learn more; creative-thinker

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicant must be able to work 40 hours/week during GTB’s regular business hours throughout the 10-week program.

o Any work schedule exceptions due to classes must be requested in writing by the intern and granted by GTB, in their sole discretion, prior to the start of the Internship Program. At no time will an intern working less than 35 hours a week be accepted into the program.
