AV/VC Room Sweep Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Technicians will be responsible to fix minor room issues on the spot and escalate more complex problems to the IT team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in IT. Strong opportunity for advancement into other IT fields including, IT Support, Video Conferencing and systems administration. Full training for the sweeps position provided.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Verify cables are in good condition with proper placement and management • Systems and cables tested for accurate signals
• Test calls are placed to verify all systems are in working order
• Ensure monitors are properly placed and are in working order
• Make sure room microphones and cameras inspected for placement and operability
• Ensure overall conference room is in good working order, including chairs tables etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Proven ability to trouble shoot and resolve technical issues.
• Desire to gain additional IT related skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stay on a tight schedule.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Audio Visual: 1 to 2 years (Preferred)
