Do you have experience of working in mental health or a related environment? Would you like to be part of an organisation that counts on the professionalism, insight, expertise and passion of its staff to inspire individual recovery for the people they work with? Then join us as a Recovery Worker.

Right now, one of our partners, Richmond Fellowship, is looking for Recovery Workers to join the team in Chippenham. We offer a floating support service to people with mental health problems to enable them to live independently and manage their tenancies. But, it’s only possible with the help of people like you.

Day-to-day, you’ll manage a caseload of clients to develop an appropriate personal support plan that addresses their specific needs. You will support clients who have been referred to the Community Housing Support Service with a tenancy related issue – this may range from step down from supported accommodation, to managing debts or rent arrears, applying for housing via Homes 4 Wiltshire, helping to manage anti-social behavior or negotiate difficult relationships with neighbours. And, when it comes to liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies to give people access to a full range of services, again, we’ll rely on your expertise.

A great listener, with a flexible approach and a flair for planning and prioritising a busy workload, you love motivating and engaging people in a range of developmental and rehabilitative activities. What’s more, you have a good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect people. Experience of identifying and co-ordinating a range of services to meet an individual’s needs and to enable them to engage with community activities is also essential.

Richmond Fellowship is a national mental health charity Making Recovery Reality for thousands of people every year.
For the past 60 years we've been pioneering approaches to recovery and championing social inclusion for nearly and are one of the largest voluntary sector providers of mental health support in England.
