You have a background in Health and Social Care, recruitment and/or education and are used to helping to integrate disadvantaged or disabled people into the labour market. All you need is the perfect environment to put your skills to great use. Welcome to Richmond Fellowship as an Employment Adviser.

Richmond Fellowship are delighted to be working to deliver the roll out of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services as part of the NHS England initiative for extending IPS support to some of the most disadvantaged people in the employment market place. We will be working on behalf of Wiltshire, Swindon, and Bath & North East Somerset (BaNES) Clinical Commissioning Groups to create a new single service across their geographical footprint by building on the existing success of our Wiltshire IPS Service which is now recognised as a Centre of Excellence in IPS delivery.

As Employment Adviser, you will focus on motivating, supporting and providing person centred advice and guidance to people receiving clinical support to enable them to move into suitable and sustainable work. As well as a good understanding of people, and of mental health problems, you have experience of networking/liaising with local employers and the initiative to develop and promote a service.

Excellent motivational, presentation and listening skills are essential, as is a willingness to travel in your local area and occasionally work outside of office hours. Customer focused, well organised and collaborative in approach, you’re a great administrator too. Indeed, you pride yourself on your word processing skills and ability to keep accurate computer records and use of a database; we will supply you with suitable tools to do this efficiently- using smartphones and netbooks.

The salary for this post is £21,198.00 per annum.

Richmond Fellowship is a national mental health charity Making Recovery Reality for thousands of people every year.
For the past 60 years we've been pioneering approaches to recovery and championing social inclusion for nearly and are one of the largest voluntary sector providers of mental health support in England.
