With your background in housing, social care and ‘high risk’ clients, you really understand the difference it can make when frontline staff are supported to improve practice. Well, we can put you in a position to do just that. Welcome to Richmond Fellowship as a Senior Practitioner.

Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to join our Castle Young People Supported Housing service in Cambridge.

As a Senior Practitioner you’ll be focused on practice, but of course your overriding objective will be to provide high quality support to service users, in line with service models and policy. Carrying a caseload of complex cases, you’ll provide strong and effective clinical leadership in formulating support plans and manage the work of Support Workers, Peer Support and other Volunteers. You will also act as the Team Practice Supervision Coordinator, taking notes and bringing learning back to the team to discuss how the knowledge is best shared with the team. Leading on referral administration is also a key element of this role, as is being a team mentor for any new starters joining the service.

We expect you to have your QCF in Health and Social Care – ideally level 3 or equivalent – or to be happy to train towards it. Certainly, your substantial experience within the housing and social care sector will have given you a significant understanding of mental health issues, recovery and coproduction, and the intricacies of managing resources effectively. You should also be experienced in carrying out investigations and writing reports and recommendations. On a personal level, you’re solution focused and outcome driven, able both to lead from the front and to delegate when appropriate, and flexible enough to participate in on-call arrangements.

So are you ready to help us change mental health services for the better? Apply now via our website.

This is a full-time post at 37.5 hours a week.

The salary for this post is £21,364.00 per annum with progression to £22,391.00 per annum.
