Our ways of working

Medeco is responsible for product development and sourcing of the own brand medical devices of Mediq. The brands Klinion, Curion, Absorin and Cenaman are well established medical device brands and are being sold in more than 13 European countries via our dedicated distributors and Mediq Business units.

Where are you coming from?

Qualifications, experience and skills

The successful candidate has a Bachelor degree in supply chain or logistics and preferably 2-3 years experience in an international environment.

Where are you heading?

Your role

Medeco B.V. is part of Mediq in De Meern, but the team is located in Oud-Beijerland. You will report to the Group Leader Operations and will work closely with Product Management, Customer Support, Global Supply Chain, QA/RA and the Strategic Buyers. As a supply planner you are responsible to achieve an optimal stock rotation and maximum product availability. In order to achieve this your main tasks are:

  • Plan and manage efficient inventories for the responsible assortment;
  • Maintain/update key system fields, parameters and modifiers that impact the planning process;
  • Manage supplier relations according to supplier agreement;
  • Follow up of rules and procedures. Eg new product introductions , contract agreements, Quality blocks, complaints, standard purchase tasks;
  • Share in time information regarding you own product portfolio with relevant stakeholders: Product Management, Strategic sourcing, Customer Support, Supply chain;
  • Timely and complete delivery of product availability targets. Anticipation on issues or future issues;
  • Manages trade invoices.

Which skills can you apply?

Excellent knowledge and experience in working with SAP and Slim4 is a pré. Advanced Excel skills a must. You have fluent knowledge of English, both spoken and written. You are result driven and good in building and maintaining (international) relationships.

What environment you will work in?

An international environment within Health Care industry. Your internal customers are present in 13 countries. Suppliers are located in Europe, South-East Asia and Northern America.
