We are looking for a Key Account Manager to develop, manage & grow Vans apparel sales in key specified accounts in UK. Implement determined strategies, policies and plans towards achievement of agreed targets and objectives across all categories.
The role :- Implement the Vans sales and marketing strategy in UK & Ireland for strategic key partners. Maintain professional relationship with strategic Key Accounts Follow a regular call cycle to achieve specified visit frequencies on nominated stores. Achieve sales and distribution objectives, Drive profitable sales through effective management of Key Accounts and stores through motivation, regular field visits and development identification. Determine and drive objectives and targets in agreement with the UK in accordance with the market expectation. Promote the selling of relevant product ranges, upholding product distribution strategy, and ensure you provide authoritative guidance for range selection in order to achieve optimum distribution. Where appropriate, propose pricing and discount terms that will develop business at a margin level compatible with requirements. Closely monitor account credit status and work with Credit Control and Customer Service to minimise outstanding debt and Credit-held orders. Work closely with the Marketing function to ensure good brand presentation in store. Produce thorough seasonal account plans, detailing area profiles; key regional account profiles and plans; product policy; category development plans; calendarised volume, pricing and turnover projections, Submit monthly & quarterly sales reports, highlighting top-line sales performance information, key accounts and product category and identifying any key issues / opportunities, Provide regular feedback to the UK & Ireland Sales Manager covering the marketplace, competitor activity and product development, Provide weekly/monthly future forecasts liaising with buyers and merchandisers. Provide full year by season and style/colour sales projections.
University education preferred, but not essential. 3 years sales experience and experience of dealing with key apparel retailers.
