Your Job:

As Intern Brand Marketing for our brands Thuisbezorgd.nl in the Netherlands and Takeaway.com in Belgium & Luxembourg, you will be part of a fast-growing team in the heart of Amsterdam. You will support the Brand Marketing Team in activating the brand in the local markets through different activities such as campaigns, PR or events. By supporting the Brand Manager, you will contribute to the operations of effective through-the-line branded content across all touch points, both in media as well as in trade channels. Through your in-depth market- and competitor analysis you will be able to advise the team on the course of action. On top of this, you will be in the lead of your own projects, allowing you to differentiate yourself.

Being an intern at Takeaway.com means more than getting involved in the day-to-day running of the company. As an intern, you'll get exposure to real projects and challenges in a vibrant environment and gather valuable work experience.

We are looking for a motivated Intern in the field of Brand Marketing for a period of 6 months. As a part of the Team, you will independently create reports and analyzes, supporting events and our campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to Brand Manager on key projects and plans, primarily across the main brands Thuisbezorgd.nl (NL) and Takeaway.com (BE, LU);
  • Raise brand awareness through market analysis on consumer and competitive landscape;
  • Support and initiate any ad-hoc analysis, deep dives, research on specific initiatives;
  • Help to facilitate and improve Internal Branding via various platforms (such as the staff newsletter and our internal website);
  • Opportunity to have ownership over your own project;
  • Assist in the development of presentations, systems, and coordinating event activations;
  • Help distribute and organize marketing materials.

About you:

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master);
  • Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English (both written and spoken); French is a bonus;
  • Preference for Business Administration / Communication/ Marketing or business related study;
  • Flexibility and organizational skills;
  • Creative with the ability to think out of the box;
  • Excellent writing and communication skills;
  • Service and customer oriented (internal & external);
  • Hands-on;
  • 40 hours available;
  • Available for 6 months;
