Workflow Manager Prepress

As a Workflow Manager Prepress at Helloprint, it will be your responsibility to have our artwork related systems and processes running as smoothly as possible. You are responsible for the effectiveness of our total flow, including the automatic workflow to reduce the amount of manual labour in our CS centres in Valencia and Manilla.

To ensure that our customers are happy with their products, it is crucial for us to monitor the quality of their artwork. With over 3.000 products to offer, all customizable with your own artwork this is quite a challenge: our teams and systems are currently conducting 3.000 to 4.000 checks a day. For both automatic and manual checks, you will make sure that our customers receive their digital proof as fast as possible, and with the highest quality. Moreover, you will make changes to improve the quality and productivity involved in artwork prepress related processes, all to increase customer satisfaction.

What you do

• You will be responsible for all processes involving our customers’ artwork being checked and made ready for printing;
• You will be improving processes to increase successful automated artwork checking;
• You will develop tools to improve the efficiency and quality of manual artwork checks;
• You will be working together with the team to create the best online customer experience around the artwork;
• You will be aligning with our IT department when errors occur or changes are needed.

What we are looking for

• You have at least 3 years of experience in Prepress workflow management;
• You are (or willing to become a) a master in Adobe CS, especially Acrobat DC and Indesign;
• Jpg, png, ai, eps, pdf, doc, xls, psd, svg, ps are extensions you can dream;
• You are able to quickly understand and use new tools, reports or systems that can help the investigation and improving Artwork processes;
• You are an analytical thinker with the ability to draw solid conclusions from data and reports;
• You have an inventive mind and you always challenge the status quo;
• You have an affinity for IT (html, javascript etc.)
