purpose

As a guest relations expert you work within the citizenConnect support team, taking care of our guests and hotels. Your key responsibility will be to enhance the guest experience both pre-stay and post-stay, ensuring the citizenM values are infused in the guest journey. You will also need to ensure that fellow team members are supported in providing the best possible guest experience.

key responsibilities

  • relationship management; communicating with guests via social media channels, whatsapp, online chat, email and phone and measure results and effectivity
  • achieve the highest standards of attentive guest service: provide training and constant feedback to the team to safeguard that citizenM culture is clear to anyone in contact with our guests
  • update, confirm and change guest's reservations (training will be provided via Amadeus University)
  • escalate guest technology issues to the IT team
  • control and update guest FAQ database
  • analyse and improve guest service and report weekly to citizenConnect team leader
  • RAOKs: Random Acts Of Kindness - looking at ways to surprise and wow our guests when not expected
  • Constantly looking at ways to improve the guest experience and sharing this knowledge with the rest of the team

qualifications / skills

  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environments
  • people skills showing the ability to surprise, connect, touch and be real
  • self starter who shows initiative
  • being able to work evenings, weekend or nights if required
  • fluent in English
  • conversational level of French or German or Chinese is required (spoken and written)
  • passionate about hospitality
