JOB PURPOSE
This 6 month FTC, Project Account position will support the project lead on the implementation of the new leasing standard, IFRS 16, in Burberry. This project is currently in the final stages and will end in Q3 2019, in time for reporting the for the first time at H1 2019/20. The role will sit within the Group Financial Reporting team and will report directly to the project lead, with a focus on supporting the overall project, system build, data review ,final implementation and go-live. Following the go live, the role will support post go live hyper care, process finalisation and report development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for supporting the project to implement IFRS 16 (Lease Accounting) in Burberry. This will include the following areas of activity:
Software system build and implementation
Data gathering, processing and validation
Reporting and processes
