Introduction

Our HR Technology & Innovation team drives efficiency and employee experience by maintaining and developing global HR systems. We collaborate across HR and other departments to deliver innovative solutions that support ASML’s growth. To improve HR processes, we are documenting and modeling how work is currently done. This internship gives you the opportunity to contribute to this transformation and learn about Business Process Management in a global context.

Your assignment

You will support the HR Business Architect in documenting and modelling HR processes. You will participate in design workshops and translate outcomes into clear process models. During the internship, you will gain knowledge of Business Process Management and Business Process Modeling to perform your tasks effectively.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Join HR process design workshops and capture key outcomes
  • Model HR business processes using structured methodologies
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in process documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate process models
  • Suggest improvements based on workshop insights
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation for future reference

This is a bachelor or master internship or thesis internship for a minimum of 5 months, at least 3 days per week (hybrid). The start date of this internship is as of February/March 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

  • Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field
  • Have an interest in business process management and process modelling
  • Are proficient with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Communicate effectively in English and work accurately with attention to detail
  • Are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a global environment
  • Bring a hands-on mentality and a structured approach to tasks

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship
  • Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular
  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter should include your willingness to relocate
  • If you are a non-EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement)
